We offer no-cost intensive trauma therapy to victims of crime in Franklin, Hampshire, and Hampden Counties in Western MA, thanks to a VOCA grant*. Victims of many types of crime are eligible, including assault, rape, robbery, intimate partner violence, child abuse, kidnapping, bullying, and vehicular homicide. Recent or long ago is okay. Witnesses and family members of victims are also eligible for services. A police report is not required.
We have extensive experience working with adults, children, and adolescents, including POC, LGBTQ+.
In this program we offer two treatment tracks, each taking up to about a week:
- Our standard intensive trauma-focused therapy model, featuring EMDR or PC.
- For those with more severe trauma history and related symptoms, a modified approach featuring the Flash technique.
To express your interest in receiving therapy through this grant program, please e-mail us or call us (413) 774-2340, ext. 117. If you are already working with a therapist, the first step will be to allow us to consult with your therapist. Please note that we have limited capacity and can only accept those who meet program criteria.
